The Fire alarm system can be Conventional or Addressable depending on the building architecture and end-user preferences. In places where the specific zone of the alarm needs to be identified, the addressable system is used.
The two types of Fire Alarm system
• Conventional fire alarm systems
Most of the conventional fire alarm panels are certified to EN54-2/4 standard and providing 2 to 8 fixed zones expandable to 16 zones. Up to 20 ( 32 SensoMAG Series) fire detectors can be connected to every fire zone. Unlimited number of call points can be connected to each of the fire zones. The panel is easy for installation and maintenance and provides user-friendly daily operation.

• Addressable fire alarm system
For addressable fire alarm panel, we have the IRIS and SIMPO. The IRIS addressable fire alarm panel has 1 to 4 loops and maximum coverage of 96 zones while the SIMPO has up to 2 loops panel with coverage of 48 zones. Up to 250 devices can be connected to every system loop.
With the IRIS, information for the system status is visualized on sensitive graphic display and LED indication for zones and troubles but with SIMPO, system status is visualized via LCD display and LED indication. With special 2 steps of alarm level working algorithm the false alarms are effectively minimized.
